Star Citizen - Pyro - Food Court

This Pyro station was once owned by Rest and Relax but over the centuries the station has fallen apart, with systems breaking down and people doing whatever they can to survive in the freezing emptiness of space.
The Rough and Ready gang has now taken control of the station and the food court where they’ve claimed the power station that supplies electricity to other parts of the station.

I had the opportunity to work on the Pyro station art style from the very beginning. I was responsible for defining what this rundown aesthetic would look like in our interior environments. This involved using and creating new assets in specific ways to achieve a layered look, as well as implementing the station's branding and identity through the extensive graffiti covering the walls. I took the food court room from whitebox to final art. Most of the dressing was done using existing assets, but there were also some new elements that I worked on, such as the yellow barricades used throughout the station, the cables hanging from the center of the food court, and the partition walls, the noodle sign.

This foodcourt was actually started by Josh Van Zuylen 3 years ago but has since been completely reworked from scratch to provide for Design requirements. It is still interesting to see the evolution from its pre-production phase which is visible in this ISC : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLnJKIuc8e8
